If you are awaiting the soccer team photos ect, please be patient. I first must fullfil my volunteering and get the pics to Jill for the sports program. Then i will get the pictures together for coach smith. after that i will get some of the pictures posted here on smugmug.

Genuinely enjoy taking photos at events and activities. The captured moments are a reflection, to discover, honor, teach and revisit a multitude of emotions. I enjoy not only taking the great shot of a single player in action, but also the story of the developing play in the event. The bigger story, the defenders and midfielders as they move the ball to the striker. Although these photos are not the ones you frame on the wall generally, however the kids seem to enjoy looking to see wow, I did not realize I had a man on that tight or an open player just a few yards away. These photos are great to add to your scrapbook, I like to call them the rest of the story. And always a big hit the “at them game” photos of the warm-ups, sideline and fans. I have recently ventured into taking Portraits, including senior portraits and some group photos. I have found a lot of satisfaction in this one on one and small group interaction. The esteem of just doing it as well as possible, learning more and more each time gives me a great feeling of accomplishment. I am an amateur photographer, taking photos in the Lafayette, Indiana area. There is also something pure about doing something just for the love of it. Indeed, if you look up the definition of the word "amateur" at www.dictionary.com, you will find that it doesn't just mean "a person who is inexperienced or unskilled in a particular activity". It also means "a person who engages in a study, sport, or other activity for pleasure and, "a person who admires something; devotee; fan".
